Is sand called sand because it’s between sea and land? Between the two, lays the shore. The shore is a graveyard to many; we don’t realise because it’s where we go for enjoyment.
There is something peaceful about the sea, especially the beach. If you pay attention to detail you’ll know the washed up coral is dead. They must come here to be buried on land.
Occasionally you’ll see homes that the tides bring in. When I was nine my mother told me that you could hear the sea in a shell.
I never stopped to think of it any differently, but it wasn’t the sea. It wasn’t the sea. It was something screaming for peace.
You should let the dead rest when stepping into a graveyard.
